In-Studio Lesson Guidelines

Parent/Adult Guardian Responsibilities:
1. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and follow any directions given by Public Health.

2. Wear a mask when in the entrance and waiting area.
3. Wash/sanitize hands upon entering the studio, and when exiting the studio.
4. Maintain physical distancing as much as possible with all teachers and students in the studio, outside of your bubble.
5. Check email regularly for updates.
6. Arrive to the studio no more than 5 minutes before the start of the lesson. If dropping off students, please be waiting to pick them up as soon as the lesson ends.
7. Read and assist with the implementation of all “Student Responsibilities” (below).

Teacher Responsibilities:
1. Sanitize/wash hands before and after every lesson.
2. Wear a mask in shared areas of the studio.
3. If a teacher is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or is required to isolate, they will reschedule the lesson or change the method of delivery to online. These updates will be delivered by email, and as much notice will be given as possible (preferably no later than 2:00pm, the day of the lesson).
4. Thoroughly clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces regularly. These include, but are not limited to: piano keys, plexiglass dividers (for voice students), doorknobs, music stands, counters, studio materials, bathroom surfaces, etc. Windows should also be kept open whenever possible to promote air circulation and ventilation.
