Shining Stars: Policies & Expectations

Payment:
The total investment for the term is $380, divided into 4 equal monthly payments of $95. Payments will be charged to the credit card on file on the 1st of each month. A $25 deposit will be charged upon registration, which will be put towards the first monthly payment.

Throughout the rehearsal process, we will be taking photos/videos to promote our show and program. Additionally, photos/videos will be taken during the performance, for promotional purposes. By participating in Shining Stars, you consent to having photos/videos of your child(ren) used for these purposes.
Schedule:
Rehearsals will take place on Monday evenings (5:15-8:30) on a weekly basis. Most rehearsals will require younger students to attend the first portion of the evening, and older students to attend the later portion of the evening. Occasionally, there will be "full cast" rehearsals which require students to attend a larger portion of the evening. A detailed schedule will be released prior to the start of the term. During "show week," additional rehearsals will be scheduled to prepare for our production. We will provide ample notice of the dates and times prior to show week.
Preparation:
We expect performers to review their parts at home in-between rehearsals to help us prepare our show to the highest standard possible. We will send notes after each rehearsal, and provide links to practice materials such as lyric sheets and playlists to help with at-home practice. Music will need to be memorized before the performance.
Attendance:
Every performer in the Shining Stars program is an important and valued part of our team! As a result, we require performers to attend rehearsals to the fullest extent possible.
If a performer must miss a rehearsal, please provide us with as much notice as possible by emailing [email protected]. Performers are expected to "catch-up" as much as possible following a missed rehearsal, by checking rehearsal notes, and practicing rehearsal material.
Frequent absences, especially those without notice provided, may result in reassigning solos or parts, in order to ensure we can be prepared and confident for our performance date.
Attendance for our Dress Rehearsal and Performance Day is mandatory for all performers.

- Failed/late payments will incur an automatic $10 late fee if not received by 7 days past the due date.
- If payment is more than 30 days past due, Shining Star registration will be suspended until the total balance has been paid. No refunds or credits will be given.
- We reserve the right to terminate enrolment at any time due to frequent late payments.
